The next person on Arrow’s (Stephen Amell) list is Diggle’s (David Ramsey) commanding officer and mentor from Afghanistan, Ted Gaynor.
Oliver suspects Gaynor is responsible for recent armored truck robberies, but Diggle defends him and takes a job at Gaynor's security company, Black Hawk Squad Protection Group, to keep an eye on him. Oliver decides to make a move on Ted, which puts him at odds with Diggle.

Ben played a small part of a thug who kidnapped Casey's daughter so that his boss could obtain the coveted 'Intersection" program (you have to watch the series to get the whole picture).
This was a very minor role with not much face time or lines for Ben. Mostly we got to see him make some faces in close up. A lot of Ben fans have decried the poor use of their favorite actor but it is the first time Ben has been on TV since Stargate SG-1 ended.
We can hope that TPTB noticed Ben and his charms and he will pop up on their radar when something new and fresh comes along and needs a dashing, charming, talented actor to fill the role.

Party of Five was a family drama series on the Fox network. It followed the lives of the young Salinger's who were orphaned when their parents were killed in a car accident in the first episode. Series's stars included Matthew Fox of Lost TV show fame, Scott Wolf and Neve Campbell.
Ben played Sam Brody in the third season, 1996-1997. His character was a carpenter brought in to help remodel the Salinger home and who the eldest daughter had a crush on. They carried on in a stressful relationship for most of the third season.
